After ES update default user cover photo is changed. Override not working

Hello,

Everytime you update ES the default.jpg gets overwritten with som strange image you include in the build in /media/com_easysocial/defaults/covers/user/default.jpg

I tried creating an override in
/templates/protostar/html/media/com_easysocial/defaults/covers/user/default.jpg
but that does not work.

Please advice how to set an override, because it is very annoying having to check and update all these files everytime ther is an update.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply,

Regarding for you issue to override default avatar image you can follow this step:

Joomla->templates- (YOUR_JOOMLA_TEMPLATE)->html-> create new folder name ( com_easysocial ) -> new folder name (avatars) -> new folder name (users)-> put you own avatar picture.
You have to change picture name to large.png / medium.png / small.png or square.png

To create a template override for the default profile cover, simply place the new default profile cover image at the same folder:
/templates/<YOUR_JOOMLA_TEMPLATE>/html/com_easysocial/covers/user/default.jpg
