Hello,

I did an upgrade of EasySocial to version 1.3.3.
The logo used in emails has disappeared, replaced by the EasySocial logo, even in ancient mails.
Is this a mistake on my part. It is annoying if the locations are disappearing with each upgrade.

Thank you to tell me what to do.

Bob
Hi Bob,

It seems like the FTP path that you provided is not correct. Instead of "yoursite-site" folder, the test site is located at "yoursite-social" and when I placed the override logo inside your /yoursite-social/templates/jf_social/html/com_easysocial/emails/logo.png the override is working correctly. Check my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/18nwToA0C41 .

Hope these help.

Hey Bob,

May i know what was your older version update from?

If you have follow this documentation here -> http://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/templating/customizing-email-logo , your site email logo wouldn't get override back when you update to latest version.

if you still have the issue with this, can you provide us with your FTP access and email logo as well?

Thank you for your answer Arlex,

I looked at the documentation page that you put in link, but I have not found the path of the logo image.

Hi Bob,

You need to create the folder itself in order for the override to work. I've accessed your FTP and create the following folder path inside your jf_social folder template templates/jf_social/html/com_easysocial/emails/ and upload the provided logo.png inside the folder and it should be working correctly now. However I can't seems to access your joomla backend and I am not able to verify if its working or not. Can you verify it for me?

Hi!

Thanks for your help. I could see the file via ftp. But the emails sent via the system uses the logo "EasySocial". Here the image of an email received at 14h, or 15 minutes after your message.

Hi Bob,

Can you try to clear the cache on your joomla site and then try again? If the issue still persist kindly provide us with your Joomla backend as well as the previous credentials is not working for me.

Please advise.

Hello,

This does not appear to be a caching problem. The logo remains unchanged.
Can you check. Thank you.
