Hi,
I use the EasyBlog in my portal (Joomla!), that deals with technical stuff.
I intend to host advertisements from companies which targets to the blog audience.
Do you know which is the preferred method for me to proceed? I searched the extensions directory of Joomla!, and I found very few options and I cannot evaluate which of them switch better to my needs.
Any help would be appreciated
Hello George,

What sort of advertisements are you looking at? Wouldn't it be better to use Google Adsense to generate revenues from advertisements?

Hello Mark,
What sort of advertisements are you looking at?

I am looking for advertisements from technical and commercial companies

Wouldn't it be better to use Google Adsense to generate revenues from advertisements?

Although I am not experienced and I don't know how Google works, I think Google Adsense is not an option for me, since I need to have direct contact the companies who want to be advertised in my blog. We could discuss (with the companies) the type, position, the duration etc of each advertise.

For example, a good option for me it would be, among other types of advertisements, the possibility of placement of an advertise, inside random EasyBlog posts, or with specific tags

Hi there,

From my opinion, the only way to achieve this is by using Custom Module from Joomla itself as you can refer here https://www.joomla-monster.com/documentation/joomla-basics/how-to-create-a-custom-html-module

You can design them accordingly based on your user's requirement and once it is done, apply them accordingly on which positions your desired with. By the way, you also can included them as your blog contents by utilising this option https://screencast.com/t/xcrEv2Dv(available on WYWSYG editor and not possible to achieve on Easyblog Built-in edtior)

Please give it a try and see how it goes.
