Hello. To publish Advertisement on site user need to pay real money or can use UserPoints?
Does site need PayPlans extension?

My idea is:
1) forbid user to promote external links.
2) also user to promote any my website links (for example his videos, profile etc to get more attention)
3) allow user to pay with user points.
– is it possible?

Thanks.
To allow users to use the advertisement system, they need to be allowed to under the ACL of the profile types.

Are they able to use userpoints?
is it possible to limit ads with payplans?
Can ads promote internal products like marketplace items?

Unfortunately they cannot use userpoints to subscribe to ads. Since acls are tied to profile types, you can integrate PayPlans with EasySocial.

When they purchase a plan, their account could be updated to a specific profile type that has specific rules (including the capability to create ads).

ok, i see that profile type acl has an option to enable advertisements, what I'm wondering is, is it possible to limit how many ads they create e.g. can only create 10 ads, does payplans have an app integration for that yet?

No, we do not have such ACLs currently but this is something that we are looking at enhancing in the near future

Hello,

When it would be possible, it would be interesting to propose a limit according to an interval

Thank you,

Hello Philippe,

I appreciate your input very much but please do it in the feature requests area instead of continuously posting on the forums.

I'm sorry Mark.
I was just adding this new feature request.

In the future, may I request that you do it directly on the feature request rather than cross posting? This creates a lot more confusions for the team and other customers.

It's heard.
My apologies. I will be much more discreet on the forum.

Thanks! It's not about being discreet but its more about placing it in the appropriate section if it is a feature request. This way, whenever we try to collect for new features, it's all in one place. It becomes very confusing when one post leads to another when we collect for features.

Here's a simple issue that we always face when reading the forums:

1. We read through post A, and in post A, you refer to post B which you posted a reply.

2. When reading post B (over hundred replies), only to realize that you have already posted on the feature requests area

There is indeed enough to mix the brushes.
I agree that this is very complicated for you to manage. I'd be careful about that.

The problem with the Feature Request section is that we don't have a direct exchange with you the Stackideas team.
We exchange between us customers to dream so much things, but we do not know if our ideas are technically feasible and if it is in your plans.

I like to discuss with you the future evolution of your products.
Because I like my personal project as well as the technical aspect of your extensions.

Honestly, we love to hear feedbacks from our customers but the only problem with getting engaged in dialogs is they take up time and a lot of time because we need to spend time to process your input and provide our input.

When it is done on the feature requests area, you guys are eliminating the first problem for us which is to have a discussion amongst yourselves and when we evaluate the request, we can see what / how a feature should be implemented rather than being engaged on a daily basis.

I understand you.

Because I myself am in a similar configuration with the community of my site.
Some users ask me questions directly (private message or email), while it is preferable that they address other users by posting their publication on the Stream.
Because I have other things to do for the site (SEO, commercial, communication, etc.).
And also come to the Stackideas forum, and annoy Mark with this discussion ! I'm joking

I let you work. Thanks for your time Mark.

Yep, if you look at our track record (in fact if you take a look at EasySocial 4 and EasyDiscuss 5), many of what you guys have suggested are included in to the core

We just needed time to digest all the inputs we received.

Thanks for the coffee and Thank you for understanding!
