Hi all,

Since this is my first post, I must say THANK YOU! For the developers and great community - THANK YOU! I love the script, and I adore the support!

As for the small issue I am facing:
I want to make a B2B community, and have setup custom fields in the "Profile Types" to support my needs.
Now what is left to do is set a search tool that will allow different business to search for those custom fields (e.g. "services" "rate $" etc.).

Is this possible via an already built-in function / plugin and without going through scripting hell?

Thank you,
Eli
Hi Eli,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Yes, this is already possible with EasySocial advanced search. To do this, you will first need to make sure the 'unique_key' of your field for each of your profile type are same. E.g. your 'services' field the unique_key on each of your profile type must be the same. E.g. 'SERVICES'. You mark the field as 'searchable'. Please see http://screencast.com/t/cpufL11fUwT

Once you done that, you should be able to search this field from EasySocial advanced search page. Please see http://screencast.com/t/KYJkY0dCA4

Hope this help and have a nice day

Thank you for the prompt reply.

This is working very nicely now

Is there a way to make the advanced search a stand alone module with already built Search criteria and place it anywhere I wish - i.e. same like the EasySocial Dating search but with different search parameters?

Hi Eli,

You are most welcome.

I am sorry but currently we do not have standalone advanced search module yet but we will see if we can add this module in the future release or not.

Thanks again for your feedback and have a nice day!
