As far as I understand one does not currently exist. While I personally don't need one as of right now, I do however believe that it is in the communities best interest to have such a module. Perhaps the module could rely on the methods of the pre-defined advanced search. I was leaning on the menu item method for showing pre-defined search items, but the custom fields idea might work better for the advanced search module. So now I am not quite sure which of the two methods I like better.

I can hardly wait till this does become a module (with predefined dropdowns) Should I post this in Voices or is it already there?

I really actually need this, as searching is a major part of my site.
