The issue is that it is dumping some group categories into my user profile custom fields.

I have only test this with the education field. It could be present in others but i am not certain at the moment.

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have fixed this issue on your site. The unique key for the dropdown is not unique. So, I have fixed this: http://screencast.com/t/qLhdscYrGFV and the advanced search list is displaying correctly: http://screencast.com/t/orrxjf8e .

Can you verify this for me?
