I am experimenting with the easyblog ad sense integration. I have tried putting the code in but am not getting any output. I stripped the code of all tags other than what the box below the field tells me to enter and put in my specific digits

The interface seems pretty straight forward. I have it enabled. As far as I can see its all correct just no output (on my browsers at least!)
Hi Keith,

It seems like the issue is only occur when you try to use responsive adsense instead of normal adsense. Can you download the attachment below and place it inside your /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/adsense/ folder and see how it goes?

Hi Keith,

I've viewed your site and it seems like the ads is generated correctly. Check my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/pEFbv22O . Not really sure how to reproduce the issue on your site .

interesting that my browser does nto show this. perhaps it is caching problem yet again. your integration does not discriminate against the site owner not viewing it right? although that would be a nice option on top of guest vs registered too! keep me from clicking it by accident too!

BTW you might want to add an option that only enables the ad after the blog has existed for X number of days. I read this somewhere and it seems like a decent option

Hey Keith,

Hm, are you sure Adsense allows you to host it on a subdomain? The last I recall, adsense will not work on subdomains. Perhaps this could cause these erratic behaviors? Ezrul was able to see it but I can't.

Hi Keith,

May I know have you tried to replace the file that I include above after the update? Can you also pass me your FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?

yup you nailed it.... as usual i wasn't thinking! thanks for the idea. it was as you said. I'm a litle curious as to why a joomla update from 3.3 to 3.4 caused an easyblog template file to be replaced? but either way it looks to be back now

Hi Keith,

To be honest I'm not very certain why this issue is occur after you have updated your joomla to the latest version. Perhaps there are some backup mechanism on your site that are activated during the update process. Nevertheless glad that your issue has been resolved now.

Installed new easyblog update but my adsense is gone again. Going to apply the fix again, but hope that in the next release it will be fixed.

Keep you posted if it works

I have an error but not sure what the temp fix is.
At least can you tell me if the following code is what should be inserted in the profile. i.e. the whole code block of javascript google provides.

--script...tag
<!-- Easy Blog Post Banner on Style Review -->
<ins class="adsbygoogle"
style="display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px"
data-ad-client="ca-pub-5653652306821260"
data-ad-slot="9351856135"></ins>
..script tag...
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
..end script tag

Hi Calvin,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

You don't need to include script tag inside the form. All you need to do is copy the ins tag only inside the adsense integration and it should be working correctly. Refer my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/s1Mhz3oQY4x .

Ok thanks - its obvious now you have stated that and I didn't read I was looking in the blogger settings on a per user basis as well. As bloggers can then get their own revenue by filing in their own code. In that part I think it's still not clear what they need to enter.
here is my screen shot..

We have to remember that normal users are even less savvy.

Hi Calvin,

Thanks for the heads up. I will forward this to our easyblog developers so that they could add some sort of message there to avoid confusion for normal users.

Thanks. So sounds like to confirm always the same portion of code needs to be added if
a) global adsense settings
b) per user

-> same piece of code is needed

Hi Calvin,

I am sorry but I'm not quite understand what do you mean by always the portion needs to be added. Can you elaborate more on this?
