When you pin a stream item on the dashboard, that particular stream item would already automatically appear pinned on the dashboard.

Do you mean you also want them to appear on user's profile? Unfortunately that isn't possible currently.

No, we want a pinned item by an administrator to ALWAYS stay at the top, we have pinned posts before and they get mixed up with other newer posts, rather than always stay pinned to the top.

Yes, pinned items is active.

See screenshot, you will see one of my pinned items, but it is not at the top of the news feed? I want it to be at the top all of the time.

For further checking on this, may I know this user Katie Dunn is superadmin/superuser for the site? Because for the current behavior only superadmin/superuser is privilege to make sticky stream item in the newsfeed for everyone.

I have redone this on the administrator login and pinned a post and it does not work as you have mentioned.

As I said previously the only have the privilege to have the sticky stream item is superadmin not administrator. Perhaps, Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?
