I am getting emails to approve new members, even though the profile type does not require that. This is a huge time waster, can someone please tell me why this is happening?
Hello Beth,

Hm, just to confirm, are you sure that these emails are being generated by EasySocial? Because since you still have JomSocial installed, users could still be able to register via JomSocial.

Also, is the user registered under the "Member" profile type or?

Pretty sure they're EasySocial, the email has the ES formatting and I have no links to joomla registration forms that I am aware of on my site.

Attached a screenshot of the email. And yes, they are all hitting the Member profile.

Hello Beth,

Ah, okay found the problem. It seems like this issue only occurs when the user signs up via FB. This will be fixed in the next release

I get that email too even when I set <<Requires user activation>>, but user stills receive the activation email and are able to activate their account.

I guess there should only be a notification to admin about a user has just register to your site.

Hello checksum,

This issue only happens on Facebook registrations. If your profile type has the settings as Beth pointed out above, normal registrations and quick registrations will not send you any emails.
