Hi There,
When EB sends out notification mails, I receive all mails that are sent out to subscribers in my admin mailbox. They are sent from the admin address specified in EB and sent TO the user's email address and they do arrive at the user's end. But I do not understand why I get ALL of these mails in my admin box as well (not in sent items but in inbox). see attachment.
I have searched for some setting like cc admin on all mails or so but cannot find it. Am i overlooking something ?
Hello Julius,

If you are using gmail, check gmail's settings. IIRC, there is a settings that says "keep sent messages" or "copy sent messages"

hi adelene, did you make any progress ? have any idea what's going on?
as far as i can see issue still persists..
before you are diving in too deep, i just noticed that it looks as if the same is happening with regular joomla registration mails and also with mails being sent out by akeeba subscriptions component which i have running. This may (likely) not be a ED or EB issue but more a core e-mail issue within joomla.... If you have any clue i'd love to hear it but i understand it may have nothing to do with your components!!

Hello Julius,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply, we might have missed your post earlier. Hm, I am suspecting that your e-mail address probably is sending a copy to itself so that it is saved on your mailbox? That could be one reason why all of the e-mails are also stored in your inbox.

Hi Mark, it must be something like that but I have no clue where such a setting would be found or editted. The site's mail is routed via google apps mail, i cannot find anything in joomla's settings where i can have mail copied to the admins mailbox and then switch it off for the matter
if you have any clue i'd love to hear it but i understand it is beyond the scope of ED
