I had to switch over to php mail to have email sent from joomla. We use godaddy email and they only allow 250 smtp relays per day. We were hitting the limit on this.

So I switched over to php mail and tested that it could send via php mail and it works. The user gets notified upon registration, but not the Admin.

I have notification set to Yes for Admin notification. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Hello Dan,

I have checked your site. The email notification for admins will retrieve the admins on the site which in your case, these are the admins:

["name"]="RVPoints Website"
["username"]="rvpointsadmin"
["email"]= "info@rvpoints.com"

["name"]= "devuser"
["username"]= "devuser2"
["email"]= "devuser2@pinellasrealtor.org"

This email notification will be sent only if the user has enabled this option: http://take.ms/IRRE0 and from your admins list, I found out that devuser2 has this option disabled. You might want to enable it and try again.

The main account "info@rvpoints.com" already has it set to "receive system emails" and still is not receiving admin notifications.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I've just tested register on your site, can you check this your email inbox (info@rvpoints.com), system should notify this to you.

Because I've enabled development mode from your backend Easysocial in order to store these email notification from your database, so I can see your system actually did notify to this email address when someone register on your site.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Can you try following instruction and see another alternative email is it can receive?

1. Create a new Superadmin account from backend and set another email address e.g. do not use this "@rvpoints.com"
2. Make sure enable "system email" from that user profile and assign to Super user (user group)
3. Try create a new member from Easysocial frontend
4. Wait for awhile then check your mailbox

if another alternative email can received that email, you have to consult with your webmail administrator why this "@rvpoints.com" can't receive email is it got some of the restriction for certain type of email can't received it.
