Hi there,

I installed EasyDiscuss and had problems with the dropdown on settings and migrators it didn't want to open. Than I changed the admintheme and it workes only one time, after opening it I'm going back to the dashboard and tried it a second time and same problem. I found out that mod_pagespeed is cause the problem.

So far for all with the same problem - edit the .htaccess in root and put - ModPagespeed off - inside and it save the file. Now you can work with this 2 Menues - After this you have to put a # on it to load the Mod correctly -> # ModPagespeed off.

I hope there will be a better solution for it in the near future.

Cheers
Steve
Hello Steve.

Sorry for late reply to this,
Actually that was known issues I have asked my colleague about this issues, he said that you need to add this code in your .htaccess

ModPagespeedDisallow */media/foundry/*

So it work fine now after i added this code in your file. Hope this help.

Hello Steve,

Could you mind provide us with a temporary access to your Joomla backend (as admin) and an FTP access so we can check that issue and see how the problem clash it out? Please advise.

Hi Arlex,

this will be no problem. I can't find any other post on this issue so I think it can be that no one is useing mod_pagespeed or it is another problem in bundle with it .. maybe : )

Thx in front of all efforts,
Steve

Hello Steve,

I have tried to access in your FTP, but it seems like can't connect to your server.
And i have tried to install the OSE-fileman in your backend, but the user "kundenadmin" do not have this permission to view .htaccess file, could you can set the user as a superadmin privilege to view your .htaccess file and edit ModPagespeed to off, so we can try to reproduce with your issues.

Hi Arlex,

thx for our first looking but this is the only user and is allready superadmin. Strange, .htaccess is on chm644 as all files. I also installed OSE to see if it works with chm777 but the same 2errors appears.

I give you the FTP again and hope there was only a typing error of mine in the last post.

Best regards,
Steve

Hey Arlex,

there is no excuse for a late reply - you and the whole stackidears team serve excellent service. I use and used many it-services in the last 10 years of webworking and the most of them can cut out a piece of your friendliness, courteous treatment und timely support.

Thx a lot for this solution. We are useing mod_pagespeed since a view weeks and have to learn about the declensions a lot. So a new thing learned.

Best regards and a pleasant rest of the week,
Steve
