Hello,

I've just updated the last version of Easyblog (Version 5.0.23 with Joomla 2.5) on my site via the Download Launcher and the admin interface for Easyblog is totally broken (see attachment) !!

Thanks for helping me. It's pretty urgent.

Best Regards.
It was a cache issue actually. Sorry for the inconvenience.

However, the module Lastest blog (footer) is desactivated since the update.

Hello,

I changed the access information. I hope It's gonna work this time
For your information, the issue with Latest Blogs Module is fixed.
Only the issue with the toolbar (not diplaying) is still there.

By the way, I changed the layout of the file "/components/com_easyblog/themes/default/blog-item.php => I want to put the social buttons on top of the page in blog and article pages. Is it the good file cause the blog/article layout on front doesn't change ?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Dominique,

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

Can you try clear your browser cache then view again on your Easyblog frontpage and see that toolbar should be appear now.

By the way, If you would like to move that social button on top, you have to modify on this file -> JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\themes\wireframe\blogs\entry\default.php

Then follow this template override documentation put your file in your current template, then you no need worry everything update to latest version need to modify to same file again and again.
http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/customizations/template-overridden

Hope this will help.

Hello,

The toolbar is displaying now.
For the modification of the file JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\themes\wireframe\blogs\entry\default.php, the social buttons position didn't change (see attachment). Maybe it's a cache issue...

Thanks a lot for your help!

By the way, I don't have a "add comment" button in blog article.

I also need to change the language of the word "Search..." in the toolbar. Could you tell which file is it ?

Thanks in advance.

I've just observed that I can preview the post from back or front-end before publishing.
Should I install a plugin for that ?

You can try download my attached file and replace into JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\themes\wireframe\blogs\entry\default.php

Do you mean you would like to allow public user to comment?

regarding the search language string, you can add the language string in your Joomla > extension > language manager > override > click new > insert this string COM_EASYBLOG_TOOLBAR_PLACEHOLDER_SEARCH then type which word you would like to change to.

Regarding the preview post, if you create post from backend, you have to make sure you already logged in frontend, because when you click on `preview` button, it will redirect to another new tab then populate the post preview.

Hope this help.

Sorry, I missed that. It's ok for the preview link but I've got a 404 error (for posts and drafts) in despite of front-end connection.

Hey Dominique,

You have to make sure you logged in your frontpage, so when you click preview button the system will not show 404 error.

That preview button will always appear on the composer pop up.
