Hi Guys

the files and path is missing for /media/com_easysocial/avatars/defaults/badges/default.png

I have added the path and files to my server so it displays badges like proof-reader etc

Also I have noticed that if you disable apps they still appear, I had to uninstall kc forum app etc to not appear

Thanks
Rob
Hi Rob,

To understand the issue better, may I know which page has the badge display issue? Some screenshots would be great.

Hey Rob,

Thanks for the explanation. I am able to replicate the issue now. This issue happens when the custom badge that we install does not include an avatar, so it uses the default avatar which is missing.

I will log this in our tracker.
Also I have noticed that if you disable apps they still appear, I had to uninstall kc forum app etc to not appear
Do you mean the badges are still listed in the frontend even though you disable the app? I believe you need to disable the achievement in the backend.

Hi Raymond

That's great and glad I found the bug for you

Also I have noticed that if you disable apps they still appear, I had to uninstall kc forum app etc to not appear

Do you mean the badges are still listed in the frontend even though you disable the app? I believe you need to disable the achievement in the backend.

I may start a new thread as no this is the applications, when you go to the backend and click an application like Articles to disable if you go to frontend and applications page the disabled app is still showing, I had to uninstall the app for it to not appear

Thanks
Rob

Hey Rob,

Oh you mean unpublished application is showing in this listing(http://take.ms/01Thw)?

Previously someone has reported this bug and it was addressed internally. Would you like the fix?

Hey Rob,

I have attached 2 fix files below. You can apply them into the following directories:
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/views/apps/view.ajax.php
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/views/apps/view.html.php
