How do I increase the character or word limit for comments posted in easy social? So I was just commenting on a friend's post but it cuts off too early and says "More". It seems like the limit is 150 characters (with spaces). Where do I go to adjust that setting?

Thanks
By default it is now truncated to 150 characters in EasySocial but you will not be able to configure this as we do think that this should just work with 150 characters.

If you really need to customize this, you could edit the file /administrator/components/com_easysocial/tables/comments.php and at line 377 and 391 respectively, change 150 to a different integer.

Perhaps the template could decide so you could in the future just create a template override by passing in an argument to define it's length. I will add this internally.

Ok thanks Mark. Can you elaborate on why you think it should just work with 150 characters? If it were 200, or 300, would that cause other problems?

The longer it is, the more cluttered your site would look like. Our goal with EasySocial 2 is to simplify the look and feel so that your sites wouldn't look too cluttered and we do not want to throw in hundreds of different settings for you. It should just work

Thanks Mark. Besides adding Pages to EasySocial 2.0, what are the main new features? I looked at the demo page and saw a listing but it sounded a lot like what I already have so I'm wondering new features that maybe I'm not seeing. For instance, when I have a chat message with someone, I noticed it's not "real time" in that I can see new messages come in withOUT refreshing the page. Has that been improved? Also regarding chats, I noticed if I click to send someone a message, it starts a new conversation instead of picking up where a previous one left off. Has that changed so you only have 1 conversation per person? Thanks
