I can currently only give you access to the DEMO / Test environment as I´m currently building the proper configuration for that. I added this information to this ticket/posting. Please keep noted that I´m also working on the environment currently so some stuff might change ;-).

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like you didn't have add address custom field into profile type, in order to allow user to add their country or address from their profile page, you have to go to backend > Easysocial > profile type > select your profile type > custom field > add "address" or "country" custom field into profile form > save.

Once you save, it should populate an option from user edit profile page.

If you would like user to add their address from their user profile, you can disable that "use map" option from the address custom field. you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

Yes I tried that but i think I have issues to use this feature for germany. In germany we have "Deutschland" and then cities like "Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin"... but it looks like if the region feature is based on "states" and couldn´t be used with cities.

Yes, that is correct. The regions would only auto populate the state and not cities.

Yes, you can add new state from backend Easysocial region page. May i know which part of the description you referring? Perhaps you can share with us some screenshot regarding this so I will see if I can provide a language override for you for this situation?

Hm I think you got me wrong. The issue is that when i use "cities" there instead of "stats" the description (e.g. when creating an easysocial entry) refers to "state". This is a little bit confusing as there will be no states shown to choose from, it will be cities only...

It would be great if the whole "region" feature could be improved and would allow us to define in the backend not only states ... would be great if we can choose cities in the dialog as well.

Currently we do not have plan for add this yet, perhaps you can add this as feature request on our forums here https://stackideas.com/forums/easysocial/feature-requests-2 , so our developer will compile all the feature request which requested from our customer, if there a lot of users request this feature as well, we will definitely consider implement this in the future.
