Hi there, as far as I understood workflows on pages are attched to the different page-types.

Is there a possibility to set-up a second workflow for a page-category and start it manually?
My idea is to setup the general page initially (workflow 1) and then after that is finished to give the page owner the ability to manually start another workflow (workflow 2) and gather further information.

Thanks
Hello Peer,

You can setup as many workflows as you want and associate worksflows with the category. For instance, you can have Category A associated with workflow 1 and Category B associated with workflow 2.

When the user creates a Page under Category A, it will use workflow 1 and workflow 2 if they register under category B.

Hi Mark, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately your reply does not answer my whole question. I want to give the user the ability to start a second workflow manually after the initial page workflow is done. Within this workflow I want to ask for further information.
Workflow 1 so far is selected as the standard "Page-Creation" wokflow in admin backend and the user shall have the opportunity to manually start a second wokflow.

Thank you
Peer

Hey there,

Currently, it is impossible to have more than one workflow to be associated with a page category.

Perhaps you can create more than one step in the page workflow and see how it goes as shown in the screenshot for an example. https://take.ms/WyzZF
