additional placeholder image shows in article view

After updating to EB 6 b1 it is showing a placeholder image in Article View additionally to a leading image, if no cover image exists. In preferences is activated to use first image as cover image. This was working fine before updating. Would be fine, if this will work again like before.

Can you update the correct site backend login credentials so that I can able to log in to your site and troubleshoot this issue?

Also, can you update us on which blog post having this issue?

Hello Alex, thank you for your fast answer.It is a local test site, so unfortunately you can't take a look at. can't you reproduce this behavior in your test installation?

Actually, I am still not sure which view are you referring to.

I already tested in my local, the latest blog view can get the blog image as cover correctly, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Thank you very much for trying this out. What happens, if you go directly to the single Post view of this article? That view is, what does show the placeholder for me.
