This is from a prior ticket I had here: https://stackideas.com/forums/eb-email-output-1

Everything works when I make changes in the following;
JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php

The thing is every time there is an update it reverts.
Like to know the actual override location for this; so don't have to continue changing.

I have tried;
JoomlaFolder/templates/default-template/html/com_easyblog/post/post.php

However, this didn't seem to work.

Was it suppose to be like this:
JoomlaFolder/templates/default-template/html/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php
Hi there,

Unfortunately, those changes you done cannot be override as override can be done for themes files only. It is because those changes are on our cores files and cores will always be changes once update/upgrade are made.

You will always need to replace them on respective path once you done your update/upgrade. Thanks for your understanding.

It's not going to make sense to allow overrides for core codes because core codes changes very often in between minor releases and because of these changes, you are going to have a hard time tracking down these changes.
