Hi,

I would like to know if it were possible to add new positions in some easysocial pages.

In event list pages, there are no positions, maybe it could have a position under the first row of events and after the third one for example...

Because now the only position is after all event list so at the very end of the page.

Same, there is no positions in profile pages between the fields groups... only at the top and bottom not in the middle.

Would it be possible to help about that please?

Regards,
Nadine
Hey there,

Currently it's not possible to have a position that stretch between two event without changing the core html file.

But it's possible to make a position under each event in the list.

The reason why you didn't see those module position between the event is because by default Easysocial doesn't have these module position under this area.

Can you take a look of my attached screenshot below, this is the only way can able to show the custom position under the event card area, if you okay with this, we will apply some custom code into your site.

One more question, is it you would like to show your site ads under each of the event? You can take a look of my attached screenshot below, so you would like to show different ads for each of the event?

Hi,

Yes, thank you for the screncaptures.

I am ok to have those kind of ads.

I would prefer not having more than 2 ads in the same page as i will use adsense and i already have another one at the top.

So i guess, i would like to have at least 2 differents positions... i don't know if it was really the question, sorry.

But i would like differents positions so i don't have the same ad replicate after each events...
Hope i explained it better

I've applied some custom code into your current template override section :

/public_html/templates/ireview3/html/com_easysocial/events/default/item.php
/public_html/templates/ireview3/html/com_easysocial/events/default/items.php

You should see each of the event bottom module position now https://www.zanmie.com/sortir-entre-filles?tp=1

Do take note : when the user click on the left sidebar filter link, it will not render that module position, because it required more another customisation code which involved some of the PHP file unable to override into your current template, so you have to replace the file every time when you update to next Easysocial version.

Hi,

Thank you for the changes, this is perfect.

So now, if everything stays like this and if i upgrade to last version of easysocial i don't have nothing to change right?

What about the profile page? Is it possible to ad a module position after a group field?

There is two positions :
es-profile-about-after-header and another one : es-profile-about-after-contents

but no other positions between them, after one ar several fields groups like on my site after the group "Mes infos" or "Mes centres d'intĂ©rĂȘts"...

Yes, when you update to next release version, it will not affect your site for those changes.

By the way, I've applied some custom code into this file /public_html/templates/ireview3/html/com_easysocial/fields/about/default.php regarding those user profile about page.
