Currently, i am a bit lost here actually as i am not sure which part of events are you referring to. But maybe you can try to append ?tp=1 on your current url and see those available position on your site then assign your menu module into that particular position.

For an example, https://faenet.org/community-events?tp=1 , it will shown you those available position on your site as shown http://take.ms/nvLZe

We do not have a module position underneath the events filter currently. You can download the attached file and upload it into /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/events/default/ . The hack inserts a new module position called "es-events-sidebar-top" which you can place your module under.

Can you please tell me how you added the menu before? you did it, but I want to know how!

Based on what my colleague done to above files, he have added a new positions on your site named "es-events-after-filter". And he have assign a menu module at that particular position. So back to your question above, i have created a menu module on your site and assign registration menu into it. Here are those module http://take.ms/hzjyE.
