Adding items to ES menu

Hi Support

Is there a way to add stuff to the ES menu rather than the standard menu in Joomla. e.g. I have a broadcast component from tech Joomla and it would seem to make sense to me to have the a link for it in the ES drop down menu on the ES tool bar.

hey paul,
yep - that's exactly what you would have to do if you don't want to use a joomla menu.
but personally I'd recommend you go with a joomla menu - it's much more flexible and easier for you to maintain / change in the future.

Sorry for late reply to this,
The drop down EasySocial menu file is located in JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\themes\yourTheme\toolbar\default.profile.php

Does this mean that I would have to code this menu item into the php file?
What if I wanted a symbol for it as well?
