Hi,

Presently in the easysocial notification stream when a user reply to a comment using the easyblog comment system then it shows
"User replied your comment posted in blog post: blogpostname"

I would like to show "blogpostname" and the blogpost category.

I want to achieve this myself but I could not find the function which generates the notification.
(I searched for the constant "replied your comment posted in blog post" in the translation files but it is not present)

Can you give me the location of the function?

Kind regards,
Hey there,

You can check it out at the onNotificationLoad() at its following path respectively:

User blog app - JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/user/blog/blog.php

Group blog app - JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/group/blog/blog.php

Event blog app - JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/event/blog/blog.php

Page blog app - JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/page/blog/blog.php

Take note that you need to modify again after next update of EasySocial as it will be overridden back.

Thank you for your time but we may maybe not understand each other well

source of the notification = comment with easyblog comment system on an easyblog blog entry page

destination of the notification = easysocial stream and easysocial notification system

Hey there,

The response that I posted earlier is the one that you looking for where it generates the EasySocial notification for it.

Can you explain more in details so that we can have a better understanding of it if I still misunderstood you?
