I have a EasySocial subscription active until April, 6, but for some reason I can't read the answers on the Forum - it gives me: "This section can only be seen by users with a valid subscription.".

What I actually need is to add domains - not for the support, but to be able to install the extension in another project.
During installation, in past, it was needed to enter the API key. Now this step is gone and the installation is interrupted by the message: "Your domain is not licensed to utilize our installer API. Please enter your domain name in your license area. If this is a local installation, please download the full installation package from your dashboard area."

I wonder how can I add then a domain name in my license area, as in my Dashboard here at Stackideas I can only choose 1/1 domains - my previous one - without any choice to add a new one. (I know I can not ask for support to a second domain, but I surely can use the extension in other projects, right?)

Even here in the forum I realize now I need to choose my "License" and can not find other domain.
Please, help. It used to be so simple before......
Hello Daniel,

You can use the "Full Package" to install on non supported domains. The launcher uses an external web service which requires the same access for the supported domain.

Thank you for this quick support!

I just found (after writing here) the thread by the end of 2016 explaining about support abuse and your consequent new limitations.
It's a pity as I know you all were always so attentive and helpful - and fast!
And I do understand the new changes... although to me will be difficult to renew now... as I was doing for more than 3 years. (And barely never annoying anyone in support ;P)

One question is:
http://www.letshappen.com, the domain attached to the license was a side project of mine. My main one is another domain, and I wanted this other one to be the one attached to my license. As when I signed up it was a completely different story, and I find it weird to change things along the contract. I believe something can not be sold and then changed, but changed upon renewal only. So I wonder if I can at least choose this one-domain to be licensed.

Thank you!
Daniel

Also, it would be good if the launch installer did NOT start installing just to stop after 15% saying it can not proceed... now I have a broken-buggy EasySocial extension in my backend... :/

Hello Daniel,

Sure, just let me know which domain would you like to be associated with the domain and I will get it changed for you. Things are starting to get more costly for us too as our upstream service provider are now billing us by the hour instead and we have 6 different servers running to serve all these requests

Another example, is Transifex wants to start charging us for the use of their translation services. All of these are costs incurred by us and as much as we want to provide everything for free, we too need to pay these bills and it isn't cheap at all. We love building great software and definitely love to see you guys enjoy our work but we also need to be sustainable.

You could exit the installer and the software will still continue to work as is. If it doesn't, then it is most likely because there is permission issues in the /tmp/ folder as the script wasn't able to delete the easysocial.installation file.

Ouch!
Yes, I understand all the reasons for changes. And I am glad that the choice you took was to find the ways of keeping the best service. In other words, I'm happy for the decision of imposing some limits - which might turn it a little bit more expensive by the end of the day - instead of lowering the service and the quality.

It's always good to know there is still a place with the best products and the best service.
Thank you again, Mark, and congrats for all this time and investment in you company - it's a huge success, and (to me) the biggest contribution among all Joomla universe.

The domain I'd like to make official is http://www.pro-amateurs.com
I've just installed the full package and it's working.
Have a good night,
Daniel
