How do I change the text in the Newbie badge notification to new members? I want to add a new sentence advising new members where to go next on the website.
Hi Richard,
Since the email notification that users receive upon earning an achievement is standardize across all badges, perhaps you can try changing the description of the badge instead(http://take.ms/VLihD)?

Thank you for the suggestion Raymond, it works but unfortunately doesn't completely solve the issue, but if the email notification for achievements is standard there is a way (if this is possible):

Current notification for achieving a badge (where "Newbie" is changed to the name of the badge):

This is a notification to let you know that you have just unlocked the badge "Newbie" on the site.

How do I change it to:

This is a notification to let you know that you have just unlocked the badge "Newbie" on the site, don't forget to check the Community Sub-Menu "Applications" to install the Apps you want and keep them up to date!

(It is fine if the addition appears for all Badge Achievement notifcations and if I can show Community Sub-Menu "Applications" as a link that would be perfect).

Hey Richard,
If you are fine with the message appearing in all badge achievement emails, you can just do a language override using the following language constant and the translation that I drafted.

COM_EASYSOCIAL_EMAILS_UNLOCKED_NEW_BADGE_INFO="This is a notification to let you know that you have just unlocked the badge <strong>"_QQ_"%1s"_QQ_"</strong> on the site, don't forget to check the <a href='community/applications'>Community Sub-Menu "_QQ_"Applications"_QQ_"</a> to install the Apps you want and keep them up to date!"
Give it a try and see how it goes.
