Hello, how to add please a new emoticone in the ED default bbcode editor ?
we would like to add the "thumb up" one as in discussion some time we need to say 'Good' or 'perfect' or some thing like that

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add custom emoticons into ED's bbcode editor.
We appreciate your understanding on this.

Unfortunately, it is not as simple as adding/modifying a file. They are already hardcoded in various files and changing them all is too tedious to keep up with in every version update.

You can edit the administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/includes/parser/parser.php and add your own emoticons. Then you can at least use them though they are not shown inside the editor.
