in Settings -> Layout -> Category -> Posts -> Post Date Source (i have 3 options)
- Created Date
- Modified Date
- Publishing Date

in yoar next updates you can add 2 more options? (Hits, Random)

Hm, not really sure if I understand you here. Do you mean sorting by hits and random or ?
