I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. When you mean "main post image", do you mean the post cover? Unfortunately it's not possible but you can customize the theme file in /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/latest/post.cover.php

Caption for post cover image is a really a basic feature, which many asked for a long time.
It is especially important for credits on public images.

Any chance you'll add the caption and copyrights inputs for at least the cover image?
