Add a custom field where I can upload files, is this possible?

I tried to look but I do not find the possibility.
I have to enable the option to load the file but when one writes a new post there is a specific tab and I would like to have the custom fields tab "open", can it be done?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to achieve this as currently there are already attachment tab where you can upload file in it.

Having said that, if you require us to perform the customization for you, you can always request for a quote from us at https://crm.stackideas.com and select "Customizations" . Our sales person would be glad to send you a quote for the customizations that you have requested.

Currently, there are no fields to achieve this currently, but have you tried to enable this http://take.ms/nmXmL instead as it will shown you upload tab under your question as you can see here http://take.ms/TyM8J

Maybe i have understand you wrongly here, it would be best if you can provide us with your backend and FTP access for further check on this issues.

Please advice.

I would like that:
1) the Custom Field tab was opened by default
2) inside the custom field tab there was a custom field to upload a file
