Hi everybody,

when posting a Blog with EasyBlog I faced two issues that I don´t understand.

1. Error validating access token: Sessions for the user are not allowed because the user is not a confirmed user.
This error comes up exactly after I posted the blog. But ... it´s saved. What´s happening there?

2. No activity-stream-item in Easysocial
The Categorys are NOT set as private and in addition to that I also set Easyblog to NOT respect the ES-privacy in postings. However ... there is no activity-stream shown.
But ... I can see the activity-items in the backend. So it is saved ... but not shown. I guess, there is any problem with the privacy-settings on my page. Can you give me a hint what I should check?

All the best, Julian!
Hi Julian,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Have you turn on the error reporting to maximum and see what it the real error?

Can you kindly provide us with backend access and FTP access so that we can further inspect this issue. We need this access in order to debug this issue on your site because I can't replicate what happen on our local.

Please advise.

Hello Julian,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems fine in my local without any issue. Can you provide us with Joomla backend and FTP access so we can identify the issue first hand?

Please advise

Hi Ezrul,
hi Mohd,

I am sorry for the late reply.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Hey, no problem, it was weekend. And now I get "double-support". Your support is great, so don´t worry about making two days off on a weekend. You should also have some private life.

Have you turn on the error reporting to maximum and see what it the real error?

No, and I am not sure where to turn it on.
But after getting two times the request for backend-access, I guess this is the easier way.

It seems fine in my local without any issue. Can you provide us with Joomla backend and FTP access so we can identify the issue first hand?

Sure, but just in case I need to explain my installation to you.
The main page is http://www.psychopragmatik.de, and then I have some "slave-pages" done with Mighty Sites. They use the same files and partly a different database. EasyBlog and Easysocial use the same tables for contend, but individual tables for the settings. This way, I could adjust all settings (life layout, facebook,...) individually while keeping the content, the users, the login and so on the same.

This issue is happening also on the master-site, which is not affected by the settings of mighty sites. So I gu ess the best is to check it on psychopragmatik.de and when it´s solved there, the rest should work also.

All the best, Julian!

Hi Mohd,

I just saw it. Sorry, I did forgot to save the user after I have set the password in.
Now I have set a new pw, please try it with the updated one.

About FTP: It´s a lot of work to set up a new FTP-User for me.
Is it okay for you to work with eXtplorer?

All the best, Julian!

Hi Julian,

I am sorry as I do not hit this error: Error validating access token: Sessions for the user are not allowed because the user is not a confirmed user. Can you please tell us how can we replicate this issue with your site? So that we can further assisting you on this issue.

Regarding your second inquiry, I believe you missed to install EasyBlog Apps in your EasySocial. I have helped you install it and now the blog stream is displaying correctly.

Please advise.

Did you publish a new blog-posting on the frontend?
I don´s see any new one, so if you haven´t create one, you won´t see the error.
Feel free to create a new one, I will delete it later (also on facebook).
You should run into that error as soon as you save&publish a new blog-post.

This might be right. I think I searched for the plugins and I searched inside of the App´s if I have to turn something on. But I did not think about installing a new app. Just for the future: Where exactly can I download the app for installing? Do I have all access (including upgradig/downloading) in the ES-Settings?

All the best, Julian!

Hello Julian,

Regarding on your easysocial apps query, You need to access the following url, http://stackideas.com/apps , choose the apps and download it. After that install it via your backend > easysocial > applications > install.

Back with the original issue, I've tried to create a test blog entry using the provided credentials on the front end but i'm not hitting any issue nor invalid token session upon submitting the blog. By the way I notice that you have Admin Tools installed on your site. Perhaps you can try to add WAF exception for both com_easyblog and com_easysocial and see if the issue still persist on your end?

Please advise
