The activation reminder email for EasySocial includes the username, but not the password. Is this the intention? It's a matter of the user then needing to dig up the original activation email to locate the password. Is it an easy fix to have the password included in the reminder email? Thank you in advance.
Hi Jo,

Yes it is intended to not have the password in the activation reminder. This is because there is no way to retrieve the user's clear text password since they are not stored in the database.

Because clear text passwords are not stored, it is not possible to include them in the activation reminder. The reason clear text passwords can be included in the initial activation is because they are retrieved from the registration session itself.

Regardless, it is never a good idea to send clear text passwords in email due to the matter of security. If users forget their password, they can reset it.
