Honestly, i am not sure why i behaving like this after checking on your site for few hours already. It might be because some your server end and maybe some of your plugin triggering something to place those space in between your words.

By the way, during checking, i noticed that some of the wording also have spaces in it as you can see here http://take.ms/440Rx. May i know that there are some kind of restrictions done on your site or server end to control this? Maybe you can help us by consult with your current web hosting service provider regarding this and let us know your finding.

Maybe you can create us with a staging site so that we can dig further on this issues so that it will disturb current traffic of you live site.

Its really strange that in other emails that are sent from easysocial there is no problem, just with the activation-emails.

I have not many plugins installed, other then the ones from stackideas + one for backups and one for security.
maybe its because of php 7.2?


since the community is not using the site yet its not a problem to work on it to find out i guess..

honestly i dont know how i could tell the hostingptovider what the problem is, they will probably just tell me that they do not have support for joomla and 3dr party Extensions..

right now the activation-email is coming without errors (white spaces) but without the activity link.

After checking further, it seems that somehow it does not support longer description. I have remove some of them and it should works correctly now.

Maybe you can check with your current web hosting service provide regarding this why it does not support longer wordings/content on the emails.

Here are the snippet of the content, particularly on this strings COM_ES_EMAILS_REGISTRATION_THANK_YOU_FOR_REGISTERING="Du hast sich vor kurzem für ein Konto auf %1$s angemeldet. I've tried several times register new user account on your site, i realised that verify email content got a little bit different but i can't replicate this as what you described in your previous reply.

Hm, i believe my colleague doesn't working this during weekend and i also checked the email verify PHP file, it seems like it doesn't change anything from the code.

Can i have the permission to help you re-install Easysocial on your site?

By the way, before i perform re-install Easysocial on your site, may i know do you have customise anything related with Easysocial or someone got apply some fix into your site recently?

Because if i reinstall Easysocial, those customisation file will revert back to the original file.

i have only changed the folllowing:

-language files
-the vanilla template css

...but there were a few bugs that you or your colleagues fixed on my site (some related to php 7.2), i dont know hat you changed there, can you see my helpdesk-history?

i have made a full backup of the whole website just now, therefore i can give you consent to reinstall.

i have no idea how you fixed the problem about the corrupted activation email, it is resolved.
But i just noticed that the same problem is happening if a user wants to create a new group and i get a message sent to confirm, see screenshot. now i fear that many other emails that are gettig sent out for notifications (to me or other users) also have this "issue" around random empty spaces in the code..

can you help me there?

Honestly, we also have no idea why this happening to your as when we check on your site, nothing can be blame to cause this issues(plugin etc) It is just related to some wording where your email restricted them and hence put a space in between.

Maybe you can ask you web hosting service provider regarding this and see how it goes. Maybe they have better view regarding this issues. Please advice.

my hosting provider is not helpful with that. but i have now shortened some messages in the language-file to prevent this problems, so far the best solution, thanks!

Hi, unfortunately the problem was not really resolved, it just happens once in a while that a new user again gets an email with corrupted content (white spaces) and invalid Activation-Code(or Link).

maybe you have stumbled upon such problems with other installations too in the meanwhile? any new ideas?

I have tried to check your site and noticed that your site is stuck in an upgrade mode. Did you initiate the upgrade of EasySocial earlier? I have tried to upgrade it for you but it seems like it is hitting this error,

Is it possible for you to contact your web host to check as to why file copying is so slow?

today again a new member could not activate his account, because the activation-email was completely empty he said,no content at all, hence no activation-link or information. i now activated him from the backend manually. but we need to fix this, as i dont know how many users will nevercomplete the registeation because of this promblems around the activation link.

I am not really sure how this would be happening to your end as currently there are no way for u to replicate them currently. We need to be able to replicate them first in order to make sure what causing this issues on your users end.

Maybe you can ask them exactly, how they check those emails, which browser they use and all related information so that we can further check them.

i still have the problem, and i get emails with questions and Error reports from my (potential) members every week, it is bad for the trust in our online community.

still there is content missing in the activation emails (and sometimes other mails), possibly caused by extra " " empty characters added randomly to the content, and breaking the code, see screenshot attached (from Mozilla Thunderbird) and pasted here, i could also forward the email to you if you tell me you emailadress:

Currently, we also dont have any ideas what whose causing this issues on your end currently

Have you tried to check them with your current web hosting service provider? Or maybe you can try to disabled/unpublished "Centrora Security" for awhile and see whether you can replicate them or not.

I suspected that your server or "Centrora Security" causing this issues where it found out that those words are not safe to be used and thus put space on those contents.

Please advice.
