New registrations are not processing correctly, either an activation email is not sent or an error message appears when the user tries to activate their account if an email is sent, could you check please?
I just tested normal registration and register via Facebook, it seems I can receive those activation email, you can check my attached screenshot below.

May i know are you hitting this issue as well when you try register on your site?

Hi Arlex, i followed your registrations and ran several test registrations as well, results as follows:

1. Social Media process is fine
2. The emails are coming through now
3. Normal registration process works, but a new windows tab is also opened with an error code when the activation button is clicked or the activation code is copy/pasted to the activation box after clicking 'the activation page' link (see image).

We received several emails from users trying to register who said there was an error message (but they did not say what it was..........), so they thought they could not register, but in fact registration was successful. I think the error they are talking about is the one in the attached image, not sure why it appears?

Based on the screenshot, it seems like that URL is not correct, but I was unable to replicate this, you can check my video here and see if I reproduce this issue wrongly?

Perhaps you can get more info from those user who having these issue? Because it would be best if we can get the correct step so we can reproduce this issue.

Hi Arlex, you are processing everything correctly and we see the same output during test registrations, so everything looks fine.

The extra activation tab error message appears when we test on chrome and follow the steps in item 3 above, but not on firefox.

It does not have any impact on the process apart from making a user think registration was not successful despite also seeing a notice confirming it was.

Perhaps it will disappear in the next Chrome update, but after the tests i do not think it is a Stackideas issue, so suggest closing the ticket.

We will check with users who register in case it does not go away and if so we can open a new ticket with reference to this one after gathering more information.

Thank you for your help, much appreciated.
