Hi,

I am experiencing some problems with the ACL settings. On my site I created multiple groups (see screenshot below). I'm a member of DoubleDutch Dragons (normal user) & Administrator.
But because I'm a member of DoubleDutch Dragons I don't get permissions to edit all comments. Apparently the Administrator group does not override the normal permissions.
Do I need to change something or is it a bug?

Thanks!

Hi,

You will have to change the codes at:

/components/com_komento/helpers/acl.php

Comment out line 174 to 177, and uncomment 180 to 183.

Hi,

For user with multiple groups, the "No" will be prioritized and this is the intended behaviour. As long as one of the user group have a permission "No", the "No" will take precedence.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.
Is there a possibility to change this prioritized behaviour? For me it's more logical that Yes will be prioritized. Just like the standaard Joomla ACL. Default you've got no permissions as user and when you got a Yes, you got permissions.

I am a member of the group DoubleDutch Dragons as admin because we check with some articles on that group. So I need to be member of that group. But I would like to manage Komento comments on the frontend.

Hopefully there's a way to manage this problem.

Thanks!

Thanks Jason! That did the trick

Maybe it's a idea to create a setting for this option?
