ACL Album

Hello,

I noticed a bug in the ACL for Albums / Photos.

If Create Albums in ACL User is disabled, I cannot post photos to a Group from the Story Form.

Settings

  • Registered Users Profile Type --> ACL --> Albums --> Create albums disable
  • Registered Users Profile Type --> ACL --> Photos --> Upload Photos enable
  • General Category Group --> ACL --> Photos --> Allow Photo Albums enable

  • In Dashboard Story Form, I can post Photos.
  • But in a General Group Story Form, I can't post Photos.

I am able to reproduce this on my local instance. Will log this into our tracker.

I did not specify it.
But with this same setting :

  • Registered Users Profile Type --> ACL --> Albums --> Create albums disable
  • Registered Users Profile Type --> ACL --> Photos --> Upload Photos enable
  • General Category Group --> ACL --> Photos --> Allow Photo Albums enable

Shouldn't a Group member also be able to create an Album in a Group, no ?
With General Category Group --> ACL --> Photos --> Allow Photo Albums enable

Hey Philippe,

Both the profile type and group side has to be enabled in order to create albums. So with your case, the user will not be able to create albums.
