Account Deletion

Hi there,

Just a simple question. I enabled my users to delete their own account and am just wondering if a user is at the front end, how can they actually delete their page? I cannot seem to find it!

Hello David,

Are you logged in as a normal user? The deletion only works for normal user account and it would never display to site admins

The delete button is in the Edit Profile page.

I cannot find it to be honest. Do I need to enable it as some custom field. or is it already there?

Hello David,

In each profile types, you are able to configure if the users in the profile type is allowed to delete their account. Perhaps this option was disabled for the profile type? You can view the settings here, http://screencast.com/t/6xMsd3htOw

Hi Mark,

I am not sure where the confusion is. As I explained, I already did enable the account deletion as in the image you sent. What I am asking is where is it from the user's perspective. I logged in as a user, went to my 'Edit Profile' but could not find the button which allows me to delete my account.

Hi Mark,

The problem was that I did log in as a regular user but I have 2 profiles on my site and only enabled the delete account on one of them on not on the one that I was using...
