I am having 2 problems with my account activations. I have set registration options in easysocial to require user activation.

Problem 1: when a user clicks the activation link the page will not load and shows a "web loop" error.

Then if a user clicks the activation link again the page will load with the messages:
1 account activated
2 invalid token

User is not automatically logged in after clicking the activation link for the second time but can now login with user credentials.

Problem 2
My registration emails are ending up in gmail spam folders. this is a brand new domain and since it's still in beta with less than 20 users I don't see how it could be flagged already. Could you please give me some advice on this.

Website URL attached. Thank you for your time.
Hi Camron,

But is it not possible for a user to auto-login after user activation?

I am sorry but this is not possible as the activation link only contain the token to 'activate' the user account. User will still need to enter their username and password to login.

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Hi Camron,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

when a user clicks the activation link the page will not load and shows a "web loop" error.

Regarding the above issue, it was caused by your Joomla login form the menu item alias ('login') conflict with EasySocial login page ( using view=login). When user click on the activation link, the activate process went through successfully but the redirection to EasySocial login page failed due to the menu alias conflict. I've temporary disabled your login form menu item ( ID: 426 ) and now the activation is working correctly.

User is not automatically logged in after clicking the activation link for the second time but can now login with user credentials.

Regarding the above, I've checked your profile type the registration setting, you've configured to use 'required user activation' thus, user will not 'auto' login to the site after registration complete. http://screencast.com/t/j34s9TgaPW2T

Problem 2
My registration emails are ending up in gmail spam folders. this is a brand new domain and since it's still in beta with less than 20 users I don't see how it could be flagged already. Could you please give me some advice on this.

Regarding the above, I am sorry but this out of our control For your information, some mail service provider like gmail will try to determine the email spam score based on certain criteria. If the sender has high spam score, the email will then reach in 'spam' folder in the receiver email.

Hope this help and have a nice day!
