I am sorry but I believe this cannot be done in the current system. When the category is private, all the posts inside this category will inherit the same behaviour. I suggest to you to use different category for a different user group. If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us.
I believe you're able to achieve this by set category privacy = Viewable by registered member only. To try this, you can configure it here: Joomla > EasyBlog > Category > (category) > Privacy = Viewable by registered member only.
