1. I create a SPECIAL Invite Only Group that ONLY the Moderator or the Group Creator can invite members to join the GROUP. Is it possible to define such access rule?
I believe it is already follows this rule. I am sorry, am I missing anything here?

2. Disable the discussion of a particular group.
I believe you can disable discussion on a particular group. When you creating a group, you can select enable discussion = no. Here is my screenshot of the setting: http://screencast.com/t/qvxoSHnFqMf .

follow up on 1. It seems all members of an Invite-Only group can invite friends to join the group. Isn't it?

I want only group admins or moderators can invite people to join some special groups. While for other normal Invite-Only groups, all members can invite friends to join.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding. Currently there is no setting to do that. However, you can download this file and put it in your site here: .../components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/groups/item.header.php .

Firstly, I would like to clarify that the item.header.php you gave me will convert the workflow of ALL Invite Only Group to that ONLY Superuser, Group Admin and Group Moderator can invite friends to join. Is this correct?

Secondly, Currently there are 3 Group Types: Open Group, Closed Group, Invite Only Group.

My requirement is to increase it to 4 Group Types: Open Group, Closed Group, Invite by members Only Group, & Invite by group owner/moderator only Group.

Is it easy to do customization?

If this is difficult, Can I propose it as a feature request?
