Recently (perhaps since last ES update) I've noticed that when A accepts friend request from B, then as well as becoming friends, the system automatically says A is a follower of B as well.

I've seen it on my activity stream - whenever a friend request is accepted, it automatically shows the follower connection described above as well

Can you replicate that issue?
