I have been getting complaints from users that the About me section, the filters, and timeline does not load after being clicked on. What can be the cause of this? I have also checked this out and confirmed the error.

I am sorry for the confusion here. It seems like the issue was related with the avatar popbox issue here, http://stackideas.com/forums/error-messages-and-translations where it was caused by language filter plugin. The filter should be working correctly now. Please have a look.
