Hi all-

I was curious if there's a way to show a user type on the front-end of EasyDiscuss? We have site moderators that we need to show they are an "Employee" on the front-end. Is there a good way to do this?

Thanks!
Kevin
Hello Kevin,

I've fixed it for you in ../components/com_easydiscuss/themes/flatt/frontpage.post.php. Please have a look. The issue is because of the theme you are using. Our designers purposely didn't include the styling for role. Due to make a different style between each theme.

Hello Kevin,

You can actually display the user roles in EasyDiscuss. You can actually define your own roles in the "Roles" area at the back end of EasyDiscuss.

HI there-

Thanks for your quick response to this, and apologies it's taken me so long to follow up. I see the user label on the Profile page, but not anywhere else in the forum. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks!
Kevin

Hello Kevin,

Refer to this screenshot of mine, when you mean label, dis you mean the green color (King) or the bottom label? If you mean the green color, it appear not only in my profile page. You might want to provide us your backend and FTP so we can have a better look here. Please advise.

Hi Nick-

Thanks for your quick response! Hmm - I don't think I see your screenshot.

I'll supply additional comments in the Site Details tab.

The site is using a social sign-in component, so I've also added details to quickly login in the Optional Information field in the Site Details tab.

Thanks again,
Kevin

Hello Kevin,

Sorry that I missed the screenshot. I've checked your site and did you mean this label: http://screencast.com/t/VJiY4PLojcl ? I can see this label in both user profile and post listing. Did I missed anything? Please advise.

Hi Nick-

That's correct, however in the other examples, that label is styled with a colored badge. However, in the screenshot you provided above, it's just text. Any thoughts?

Best,
Kevin
