The question is: If I or someone else posts a Comment to a Post, does this get sent to the subscribers and on to Facebook (or just sit passively on the website?)

This is important to know, for us. I couldn't see info about this in the Comments chapter in Documentation.

This would depend on whether the setting to send notifications to subscribers is turned on in the backend. You can configure this at Settings>Notifications>Comments (refer to screenshot)

As for notifications to Facebook, this is not possible currently.
