I was editing a post today when EasyBlog locked up. I couldn't access anything. I had to close that window and open a new one. When I logged in again to Posts in the back end, the post I had been editing was gone.

I started over again and recreated the post. When I published it and checked the site, both posts are there (see screenshot. You can also see the stuck post here: http://www.johnarthurnichol.com/index.php/blog )

The first post, which I can't edit or remove or even find, has a strange format with boxes showing < > at the end (which don't do anything), and the author's avatar at the far right (when clicked this goes to the author's profile).

Can you tell me what's happened, and how I can fix it?

Thank you,
John
Hey John,

They are actually not duplicate and I believe the post is actually featured so it appears on the featured slider You can turn off the featured slider in Settings > Layout > Listings and turn off the option "Show Featured Slider".

Hi Mark. Thank you

I feel like I've been in every Easyblog setting about 50 times today.

In the end I unpublished the original post and just recreated it, and now it's okay. But now I know about the slider ... Oh, that was the buttons that didn't do anything It's starting to make sense now.

Thanks again,
John
