Hi Arlex,

To avoid misunderstanding in the site surfers it would be nice not to show all ratings in messages whose ratings are not included in the total calculation. In this way there will be a correlation between what the surfer sees and what the comment shows.

Right now, the surfer (which is not aware on how the komento component works) sees (let's say) 10 comments (and votes) made by only 2 different users and a statement like "X/Y stars based on 2 votes".

As the component take in charge only the last one vote (for each user), it is easy to hide all other votes of the same user...

What do you think?
Hi Claudio,

You do have a point here. Comment viewers may be confused since there are numerous ratings but are not sure which ones are really factored into the average rating calculation.

I will log this into our tracker so we can try to improve this in the future.

Hi Raymond,

Specially the site's visitors can think are fake comments/ratings to damage or to favor some specific article on purpose, that is not.

I think this is a issue.

Thank you

You're most welcome Claudio.

I see. Some users may create multiple comments as they think the ratings from all of them are factored in, which in reality is not.

We will see if we can include an option to hide those ratings in the future.

Regards.
