We are getting error '500' when trying to edit a blog post and when accessing the ACL in Admin.

Hi Andrew,

It seems like when Mark truncate the table #__easyblog_acl_group on your site earlier, it will cause the issue where the authors is not appearing on your site. I've fixed this for you by re-saving your ACL settings so it will regenerate the data back inside easyblog acl group table. Please have a look.

Hey Andrew,

It seems like the table #__easyblog_acl_group has been generating tons of duplicates and it's causing these issues on your site. Just wondering did you have this issue after upgrading from 3.9? We're trying to find this nasty bug and fix this once and for all.

Temporarily, to fix this I had to truncate this table.

Hey Andrew,

I've already ran a truncate command on the #__easyblog_acl_group table but if the problem still persists, please let me know.

We are having the same issue after upgrading this past weekend to version 5.0.29 this past weekend. Can you please provide the specific commands needed to fix the table issue? I also found this entry that had similar issues, but I cannot read the full thread: http://stackideas.com/forums/acl-issue,-no-one-able-to-post

Thanks!

Mark... I'm a bit concerned... Why is our EasyBlog Authors all missing when checking the backend? We need to urgently publish blogs and the Authors are gone... see attached.

Can you please assist with this urgently?

Hi Andrew,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

Can you download my attachment below and place it inside your /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/acl/ folder and see how it goes?

Ezrul... It is not working. All Bloggers are still missing under Authors in EasyBlog. The file change made no difference.
