Yes... You can replicate this easily on your side.

1. Create a multilingual environment with (e.g.: en-GB, fr-FR, de-DE)
1.1 Create a menu en-GB named Discuss
1.2 Translate the menu to Discussions in fr-FR
1.3 Translate the menu to Diskussionen in de-DE


2. Create forum1, forum2 and forum3 categories and assign them a different language (e.g.: en-GB, fr-FR, de-DE)
2.1 http://www.website.com/en-gb/discuss/forum1
2.2 http://www.website.com/fr-fr/discussions/forum2
2.3 http://www.website.com/de-de/diskussionen/forum3

3 .Create a topic in forum1 and name it: discussion-1-about-multingual-issue
http://www.website.com/en-gb/discuss/discussion-1-about-multingual-issue

4. Change language to fr-FR or de-DE
search or start a new question containing one or more of the following words : discussion-1-about-multingual-issue

5. The engine will retrieve the post started in en-gb and of course it will lead to 404 because there is no url rewriting of the link to the original post in en-GB:
suggestion engine will link to:
http://www.website.com/fr-fr/discussions/discussion-1-about-multingual-issue (404)
or
http://www.website.com/de-de/diskussionen/discussion-1-about-multingual-issue (404)
instead of the original
http://www.website.com/en-gb/discuss/discussion-1-about-multingual-issue
