In ES2 when editing a profile Google maps correctly shown for the location. However, when going back to the profile after saving, the map does not show and console shows a 403 error. If I copy and paste the static map URL from console in a new browser window, the map displays and will then show in the profile (?cached) however if I edit profile and select a new location and save, it starts with 403 all over again.

May i know how to you get this Google Maps API key from your account?

Perhaps you can try my following instruction to register again and see how it goes?
1. Go to this page -> https://console.developers.google.com/iam-admin/projects
2. Create project and check my video here : http://screencast.com/t/xnfoJH8vx
3. This is the page for activate the APIs key -> https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

I reissued the API from scratch using your steps (though I had already done this) and it still fails on profile view, not profile edit.

Hm, this is really odd. It seems to work for me here, http://take.ms/3Mh29 . Could you try to perform a hard refresh on the page? ctrl + refresh ?

Hey Dirk,

It seems like only registered user can able to access this page.

Perhaps you can start a new thread and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check?
