This seems to be a common error which has gone unresolved in the latest version of EasyBlog.
Please explain what the fix is to this issue.

Trying to access a post from the admin area results in a 400 error

VERY disappointed in your software!
Hey Anthony,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? By the way, which version are you upgrading from?

The site was running 3.9....
Since this seems to be a common problem if you could tell me how to resolve it that would be great and much preferred over having to give someone access to our server.

Hey Anthony,

When this happens, we normally run the following SQL queries. However, I am not really sure why this is happening and we actually execute the queries below during the installation process too.

update jos_easyblog_post set revision_id = 0;
truncate table jos_easyblog_revisions;

By the way, kindly please do add your domain into your license details at http://stackideas.com/dashboard as we will soon be enforcing a new policy in the forums.

After doing extensive testing of your software and reading the issues presented here as well as the reviews for your product at the Joomla Extension Directory I would like to formally request a full refund based upon the fact that this product has way to many bugs for a commercial release.

I have spent the last 48 hours fully testing your software and after exhaustive testing it would require way too much post install work for me to even bother to consider upgrading ANY of our sites with the latest version or recommending that any of our clients upgrade their software as well.

There are serious issues with the software as delivered and the upgrade process and I am very much bothered that these issues have not been addressed with a new release and the fact that as a company you have failed to publicly post the fixes that would be needed to resolve the error.

As a courtesy I am requesting you voluntarily refund my purchase before I have to take this issue up with my card company.

Thank you

Hey Anthony,

Sure, we will honor the refund of course but before I proceed with that, could you at least give us a chance to try this on the site to see what is wrong with the process? We are still unable to find the reason behind this failure as we have already ran a lot of upgrades for our customer and none of them actually hit this error.

I have a question though, did you installed any of the EasyBlog 5 beta earlier?

I know what the problem is....
The problem is that the install process does NOT make all of the required changes needed in the site database required for the software to work.

There are plenty of posts here on the forum in regards to exactly the same issue so I'm not sure how you can say that "none of them actually hit this error".

No other versions of EasyBlog other than the 3.9 version were installed.

Please process my refund at once....I've wasted enough time with this.
